  21. This version is intended for use with OS/2 2.0.  Prior versions of OS/2 
  22. are not supported.
  23.  
  24. If you do not run ObjectVision for OS/2 from an icon on your desktop, the 
  25. ObjectVision directory should be in your path.
  26.  
  27. For additional setup instructions required to share Paradox tables on 
  28. network drives, see the accompanying documentation under Linking to 
  29. Paradox Tables, page 194 of the ObjectVision for OS/2 Users Guide.

  32. 2. DOCUMENTATION CHANGES

  34. The Borland Technical Support telephone number has changed.  The new number
  35. for ObjectVision support is (408) 461-9144.

  38. 3. NON-ASCII SORT ORDER
  39.  
  40. Before using existing Paradox or Btrieve tables with non-ASCII sort orders,
  41. open the OS/2 System Folder, System Setup Group, Country icon and choose 
  42. the country setting that match the table's sort order.  When you create
  43. Paradox or Btrieve tables with ObjectVision for OS/2, your current country 
  44. setting is automatically used.

  47. 4. IBM OS/2 Support
  48.  
  49. a) In a multi-user environment, the users of OS/2 LAN Server 2.0 may
  50.    encounter obstacles in the following areas:
  51.     i)  Simultaneous update to the same Btrieve record.
  52.    ii)  Connecting to dBase files.
  53.  
  54. b) Users may also encounter obstacles when linking to dBASE files over
  55.    Netware.
  56.  
  57. c) It is not recommended that ObjectVision for OS/2 be closed from the
  58.    Window List when ObjectVision for OS/2 is waiting for a response.
